ANIFEST 2008

The international competition organiser announces a competition in the following film categories:

1. Very Short Films: A very short film is a film of less than 5 minutes in length.
2. Short Films: A short film is a film of more than 5 minutes and less than 60 minutes in length.
3. Feature-Length Films: A feature-length film is a film of 60 minutes and longer in length.
4. Television Films and Serials: A television film or a television serial is a film or serial made to the order of a TV broadcaster; only one part of the serial enters the competition.
5. Video Clips, Advertisements, Introductory Spots: A video clip is a short film made primarily to be connected with an existing music recording which covers at least 80% of the film length; an advertisement or an introductory spot is a short commercial film, made to an order to promote goods and services or to promote a brand, programme or event.
6. Internet Animation: is a film made for the purpose of Internet presentation. The recording of Internet Animation entered copied has to be on “swf” format, its size not exceeding 10 Mb.
7. Student Films: A film made by a film school student to fulfil his/her school duties.
