SOUND CAMPUS: SOUNDS OUT – RESONANT BODIES 

SOUNDS OUT – RESONANT BODIES transforms Linz’s Hauptplatz into a performative sound installation where choral singing and live radio broadcasts turn public space into a shared acoustic experience.

How do sound and space interact? How can we (re-)claim architecture and make it audible?

In this collaborative intervention, the area around Hauptplatz is transformed into a performative sound installation with choral singing, broadcast live by Radio FRO. Using portable radios, this broadcast can be received by the audience and therefore it becomes part of the installation.

This is the result of the workshop SOUNDS OUT – RESONANT BODIES by Cyrill Lim and Sabine Marte, to explore acoustics and voice through musical and performative experiments.
