Kinder vom Bulgarisch-österreichischen Elternverein „Orfej“ in Linz und von der Österreichisch-griechischen Kulturgemeinschaft „Hellas“ in Linz singen Weihnachtslieder, sagen Gedichte und Legende über Weihnachten (bulg. Kóleda, griech. Hristúgena) und erzählen, wie man in Bulgarien und Griechenland Weihnachten feiert.
Gregorianische und christlich-orthodoxe Gesänge, Weihnachtslieder aus verschiedenen Ländern.
Auf Bulgarisch (16:00 – 17:00), Griechisch (17:00 – 17:25) und z.T. auf Deutsch.
Seit Sommer 2004 sendet Voice of Africa in englischer und französischer Sprache für die afrikanische Community und vor allem für afrikanische Jugendliche in Linz.Die Themen reichen von Kultur und Musik bis zu Bildung und Politik.
The voice of Africa has been on air since summer 2004. The voice of africa at Radio fro has the mission of diseminateing informations to the people of our community especially the people of the African descent. We try this using the common colonial languages ( english and french) with the African accent. We provide our listeners especially the Africans with information relevant to their lives here in Linz, and UpperAustria , on the areas of Education, culture, Integration, music,special activities in the city, and of course on Human rights, discriminations and Racisms.
The Voice of Africa is raising the awareness of the Africans and the general public on issues concerning Africans in upper Austria. thereby improvinging the perception of the africans within our society. We try to present Africa in its diversity to correct the stereotyped image about the Africans in the Austrian society. we also promot the local African artist providing them the audience to present themselves to a wider public through the Radio program. Of course we play African music to give the people some home feelings to non Africans the African feeling.
We also broadcast at request in any of the local african Languages like Igbo , pidging english just to mention but a few.
