Acclaimed Hungarian DJ Zsolt Palotai, widely known as DJ Palotai, has died at the age of 62. DJ Palotai was a revered figure in the Hungarian underground music scene, having played a crucial role in introducing and popularizing genres of electronic music, drum and bass, and breakbeat in the country. His contribution to the music scene, especially through his association with Tilos Radio, has left a lasting influence on Hungarian culture.

Despite his recent challenges in the music industry, DJ Palotai remained an influential figure, continually shaping and transforming the music scene. His death was first reported by his friends and colleagues on social media, leaving a void in the heart of the Hungarian music industry. His legacy, however, continues to reverberate in the beats of the underground music scene, his contribution marking him as one of the pioneers of electronic music in Hungary.
