Radio FRO begleitet das Ars Electronica Festival 2017 mit einer 5teiligen Radioreihe.

Im Kultur- und Bildungskanal hört ihr fundierte Hintergrundberichte, Interviews, Programmtipps, Reportagen. Wer angesichts des reichhaltigen Programms eine Ausstellung oder ein Symposium verpasst, hat die Möglichkeit, die Inhalte im Radio nachzuhören.

The Practice of Art and Science

We interviewed Andreas J. Hirsch, coeditor (together with Gerfried Stocker) of in 2017 published book The Practice of Art and Science. Scientific Partners: Collaborations with ESA and Fraunhofer Mevis

Ars Electronica created the initiative „European Digital Art and Science Network“ to enable artists to participate in residencies at research institutes to connect science with digital art approaches. In the second edition of ARS Radio we are presenting the artist in residency collaborations with two scientific partners of Ars Electronica: Fraunhofer MEVIS, an Insitute for Medical Image Computering and ESA-The European Space Agency.

In the first edition of ARS Radio we are presenting two artists-in-residence within the 2016 art&science@ESA Open Call - Aoife van Linden Tol and Sarah Petkus.
