DJ Marcelle - Another Nice Mess

Back to 1979 special

In these dark days between X-Mess and new year I was getting melancholic whilst going through my record collection.

I came to the conclusion that for me (being sixteen and turning seventeen near the end of the year) 1979 was (one of) the best year(s) for new cutting edge music.

There was musical freedom all around, no limits, and bass and rhythm ruled, both in Jamaica as in post-punk land.

I bought so many records which are still close to my heart.
