A sound installation in the former rendez-vous hotel "Le Noailles" in Brussels. It consists of 27 speakers which are arranged in the shape of a curtain hanging from the ceiling around the area where the bed of the hotel room was located. Sounds, noises and musical elements bring up emotional aspects of romantic relationships in context of the everday life of a love hotel: The volatileness of love attachments, feelings between secrecy, excitement, sexual arousal and boredom.
The installation was a part of the exhibition "Pretty Vacant"

RADIO DRAMA
RADIO SUPPENTOPF
A radio play for one or more radio receivers.
Within the nostalgic surrounding of the former restaurant "Suppentopf" the listener witnesses the preposterous and fictitious encounter of the eating house's owner and a guest who coincidently bumps into the premises. Although the guest originally intends just to get a soup he soon becomes a victim of his own courteousness...
The story takes place in the very same location at a time when the restaurant was still open.
A mini VHF transmitter broadcasts the radio play within a range of about 200 metres inside and outside the building. Thus the drama can also be heard via radio by the neighbours who might have witnessed the regular restaurant business in past times.
